My country has much beauty
My head spins of it
The nature is kind, pretty
The Black Sea lies at my feat
All the bushes, flowers, trees,
The falls of leaves are fine
The sky is often
cloudless
The sun, the stars are main
The laces of the clouds are white
The rays of the sun much shine
And the velvet butterfly
It is very fine in its fly
All this things make my love so
great
With pleasure about it I talk
Abkhazia is my life, my fate
To die for it I am not afraid.

Dmitry Gulia
At that time he was alone,
He tried to teach his people,
Dmitry wrote the alphabet
And his people began to read.
Dmitry liked writing poems,
He loved his country very much,
He worked so hard and did the best
He didn’t want to have a rest.
Dmitry Gulia was the first,
Whose voice sounded in the science, too
“The History of Abkhazia” he wrote,
He loved his country and that his people knew.
The poet also suffered greatly,
Abkhazia was his native land,
But still is small, but very proud,
Be my guest my dear friend.

Nawey and his friend Mzauch
Were of the same age
They were together days and nights
And it was in their rights.
And I am ready outing you
That it was really it was true
They were no such friendly men
And it’s not easy to write by pen.
They went to the mountains to hunt
They traveled much about
They shared the wildfowl and everything

THE HYMN OF THE YOUTH OF ABKHAZIA
The Earth is not small, it’s so large
It’ rather rich and fine, it has much beauty
But about my land we say much -
It’s the best and very pretty.
Let it prosper, God gave us Apsny,
It lies between the mountains and the sea
May there be sunshine on my land,
Holy light will shine on the land that is free.
Our heroes died in my land,
And they will live in our hearts forever
Raise a flag together in your hand,
Carry it ahead and stop never.
Let it prosper, God gave us Apsny,
It lies between the mountains and the sea
May the be sunshine on my land,
Holy light will shine on the land that is free
